About Memory Keeper

Memory Keeper is a private place to hold on to moments with your kids — the small ones and the big ones. No feed, no likes, no followers. Just you, your kids, and the things you don't want to forget.

I'm a dad who's been through two divorces, with three kids — two from my first marriage, one from my second. If you've raised kids across marriages, you know the stress of it: the push and pull between households, the jobs I walked away from because the schedule didn't leave room for my kids, the years spent just working to provide for them. Somewhere in all of that, I realized I hadn't actually been holding on to the moments themselves — the small stuff and the big stuff, how it really felt to be there.

This isn't only for dads who've been through a divorce, either. Any single dad knows this same fight — carving out the time, actually being present enough to catch the moment while it's happening, and trying to hold it all together mostly on your own. If that's you, this app is for you too.

That's why I built Memory Keeper. Not for sharing on social media — just for us. A photo, a voice memo, a few lines about how a day went, saved somewhere private before it slips away.

One feature I especially wanted was the ability to “seal” a memory for later: write it down now, and have it stay hidden until a date in the future, like a birthday or a graduation. Some things are worth saving for exactly the right moment.

This app is still growing, and I'm building it a little bit at a time. If you're using it too, I hope it holds on to something worth keeping.
